Fall 2018 Apprentice Group Registration
At Cornerstone, we believe that our greatest spiritual growth takes place in the context of community. Because of this, participation in an Apprentice Group is seen as an integral part of the Christian life at Cornerstone. In order to encourage opportunities for discipleship with those older and younger than you, each Apprentice Group is filled with people of varying ages and stages of life. We will do our best to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee you will receive your first preference. By registering for an Apprentice Group you are committing to a semester of studying curriculum with a group of 6-12 people in a home outside of church. Depending on the group you may meet every other week or weekly for about 1.5-2 hours.
Apprentice Group Information:
- Preferences: On the registration form, you will be able to select preferences based on the day as well as geographic location.
- Location and time: Apprentice Groups will gather in host homes throughout the city on various days of the week. Most will be in the evenings, but if there is a need we will try to do some daytime groups as well. If you would like to host the group at your house, please make a note on the registration form. Groups will start meeting the first week of September after Labor Day.
- Childcare: We have the option for childcare reimbursement. Please indicate your need and interest on the registration form, and someone will be in touch with you for more information.
- Joint Registration: If your spouse, significant other, or friend is also signing up for a group you must register separately. You can make a preference to be in a group together on the registration form, and you will be matched together.
