MEMBERSHIP COMMITMENT

All who become members of Cornerstone Church are invited to sign a commitment stating the following:

By God’s grace, with repentance and faith in Christ, through the sacrament of baptism, I became a member of Christ’s Holy Church. I now commit myself to Christ’s Body locally by becoming a member of Cornerstone Church Tulsa.

As a member of Cornerstone Church Tulsa:

• I confess my belief in the Orthodox Christian Faith, as expressed through the Apostles’, Nicene and Athanasian Creeds.

• I receive the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments as being authoritative for my life, and for the life of the church.

• I vow, with God’s help, to abide by the Cornerstone Rule of Life, including the cultivation of spiritual friendships, monthly service to the church, regular and generous giving to the Lord through the church, participation in local and global renewal efforts, and weekly worship with our community.

• I commit, with God’s help, to “read, learn, mark and inwardly digest” the Scriptures and to foster a life of prayer.
