Home Groups
We’re so excited for another summer of Home Groups! Students gather in homes for a rhythm of connection, formation, prayer, and fun. These gatherings typically include shared meals, games, guided conversations, and a light liturgical structure (using resources like the Book of Common Prayer, Bible Project, or simple discussion questions). Parent hosts help anchor these nights as sacred and welcoming spaces.
We’ll build groups based on age, gender, availability, and leadership capacity—and we’ll keep you updated once your student is placed.
Home Groups will meet on the following Thursdays:
Dates: June 4, 11, 18, 25, July 9,16, 23, 30
REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON MAY 17!
Time: 6:00–7:30 PM
Location: Homes of trusted Cornerstone families (assigned by age & availability)
This info helps us form groups thoughtfully and communicate clearly with families. Thanks for partnering with us to create meaningful spaces for your student to grow in faith and friendship this summer!
Note: Home Groups are for current 6th–12th grade students (including graduating seniors). Rising 6th graders will be welcomed into Cornerstone Students later this summer during Fall Launch.

The Bridge: Day 1
6th grade is a time of educational celebration AND a time of spiritual celebration. It’s not always easy to anticipate what 6th grade will bring. There is much newness to adapt to! While you may be sorting through your closet preparing for the upcoming school year or reviewing your school supplies list, there is one more thing to get ready for - being a 6th grader at Cornerstone!
The 6th Grade Formation Class is geared to help all rising 6th graders prepare to become a part of corporate worship and Cornerstone Students. Integrating your student into Cornerstone Students during their 6th-grade year is CRUCIAL. Connections and friendships will begin to form immediately, and the hardest thing for a 6th grader to do is to catch up on connections that have already been developed. If you have a student going into 6th grade, this class, along with attending Cornerstone Students regularly, is so important!
The Bridge Schedule Overview
The Bridge Weekend Hangouts These two days are an essential part of The Bridge experience.
We strongly encourage every student to attend—these fun and meaningful moments help students build friendships and confidence before the Bridge Class begins. Students who attend these hangouts are far more likely to feel comfortable, included, and engaged throughout the full 6-week journey.

Promotion Sunday
Promotion Sunday is one of the most important Sundays of the year as rising 6th graders officially enter Cornerstone Students for the first time. Students will experience their first Sunday Gathering, meet leaders and other students, and begin building the friendships and connections that help students stay rooted and involved throughout middle and high school. It’s a fun, welcoming, and meaningful night as we celebrate this new season together.
Sunday Morning Common Prayer
Students are invited to gather downstairs in the Student Gathering Room between the 9am and 11am services for donuts and Morning Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer. Whether you’ve just attended the 9am service or are heading to the 11am, come pray and be together. Students are welcome to sit together during the 11am service if they’d like.

Middle School Retreat
This fall, our Middle Schoolers (rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders) are heading out for a 3-day, 2-night retreat at Sky Ranch in Cave Springs, OK, and we want every middle schooler who calls Cornerstone their home church to be there!
Middle school can be a whirlwind! New schedules, new questions, new challenges! This retreat is designed to create space for laughter, rest, worship, and spiritual formation right in the middle of it all.
Even more exciting? We’re linking arms with other churches across our diocese, Churches for the Sake of Others (C4SO). Over 100 middle schoolers from Anglican churches across the region will be joining us for this shared experience. That means more games, more stories, more connections, and a real taste of the larger church we belong to.
This screams COMMUNITY, and I couldn’t be more excited!
C4SO is a diocese within the Anglican Church in North America that exists to equip and multiply churches and leaders who live on mission for the sake of others. We are sacramental, Spirit-filled, and deeply committed to being rooted in place. That means your middle schooler won’t just experience a fun retreat; they’ll get a glimpse of the broader family they belong to: a network of Anglican churches that prioritize spiritual formation, shared life, missional presence, and Kingdom creativity.
Logistical Details
Cornerstone Students will travel together to Sky Ranch in 15-passenger vans, driven by our trusted team of staff and volunteer leaders. While we’ll participate in retreat activities alongside other churches, Cornerstone will have a designated sleeping area and our own adult leaders who are known and trusted by our students.
Drop-off: Friday, just before 5:00 PM at Cornerstone Church
Pick-up: Sunday afternoon at Cornerstone Church
A full schedule, packing list, and additional details will be sent out to registered families closer to the retreat date to help you and your student feel prepared and excited.
If you would like to review the rules and expectations we have in place for all volunteers serving in Cornerstone Students, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We would be more than happy to share our Leader Manual, which every adult leader reads and signs before serving.
This is a completely normal request, and we want to reassure you that your student’s safety and well-being are a top priority. Feel free to email students@cornerstonetulsa.org, and we will gladly provide the information for peace of mind.
Early Bird: $85 (until July 12)
Regular: $100 (starting July 13)

High School Retreat
There is a quote by Blaise Pascal that encapsulates our entire reasoning for retreating this upcoming December: “All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.” When we sit alone or when we retreat, we are asking the Lord to be loud, and for once, we actually have a moment and a space to hear from the Lord.
Silence, rest, and formational habits are a lost art today, but Christians have been doing it from the very beginning. In December, all High School Students are invited to a weekend retreat (and I mean an actual retreat of rest and peace). We will be retreating to a location that is the epitome of formation and peace: A Monastery.
We will be traveling to Our Lady of Clear Creek Abbey, which is located in Hulbert, OK. This will be an experience that is really unheard of among High Schools Students. We will learn about the monastic lifestyle and watch how monks have dedicated their entire lives to serving the Lord.
Check-in will be at 5 PM on December 4th @Cornerstone Tulsa, and students will return on December 6th. This is an overnight gathering for all High School Students (9th-12th grade).
Early Bird: $50 (until September 30)
Regular: $65 (starting October 1)
Registration closes November 1
The fee covers t-shirts, food, transportation, and lodging.
If you are interested in being a leader at this retreat, please select leader when asked which grade and then type "LEADER" in the promo code at checkout.
